Grading 2009 Information Page

Please read carefully:

As it has been announced sometime ago, the Canadian Kendo Federation is moving forward with online membership application procedures. First it was the online membership registration and membership fees module and now the online grading has followed to become a reality.

Starting now, Kendo, Iaido and Jodo applicants must apply through their own individual account. The CKF and/or grading committee will not accept any faxes or paper applications. Only members who have registered online with the CKF and have their account in good standing will be eligible to apply. If you haven't registered yet with the CKF please click here

Some advantages of the online procedure are;

Dojo Administrators don't need to worry about collecting applications, money and handling cash which will make the entire process more transparent and efficient
No spelling mistakes on the certificate or ineligible writing on paper transactions
Processing lists of applicants will be done almost instantaneously as soon as the grading deadline is set.
Processing the updates of a member's rank will also be done much faster
Needless to say, the administrators of the CKF will save much valuable time and effort.

IMPORTANT!:
There will be one exception, this time only. It applies to the Iaido and Jodo applicants grading in Guelph, Ontario. If you are one of those members, please click here
